About Dr Aileen Yen

Dr Aileen Yen is a general and laparoscopic surgeon with a colorectal interest. Her scope of work and interest including benign perianal surgery, laparoscopic hernia repairs, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, endoscopies and colonoscopies, and minor operations for lumps and bumps.

Dr Yen has graduated from the Graduate Medical Program at University of Sydney, and also completed a Master of Surgery (Colorectal) through Sydney University. She has had surgical training at Westmead, Nepean and Hawkesbury hospitals.

She has affiliations with Stathfield Private Hospital (for private patients), Hawkesbury (for both public and private patients), and Norwest private hospital. She also has a particular interest in diverticulitis and bowel involvement in endometriosis.

​Dr Yen will perform minor operations in the consulting room, avoiding patients from the need of general anaesthetics.
